In a poll taken last week, after Chris Christie said he would not run, former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney jumped to the lead among the U.S. Republican presidential hopefuls.
The Quinnipiac poll released last Wednesday, shows Romney leading with 22 percent of the support among Republicans and those who lean Republican; Herman Cain with 17 percent support; and Rick Perry, the current governor of Texas, with 14 percent support -- a 10 point drop in five weeks.

1. On Roe V. Wade
